Haverford Education Foundation Stepping Out Walking Program Click Here for Stepping Out Registration   Click Here to Track your Steps     The Stepping Out Walking Program will begin on April 1, 2008 and will finish on April 26th. Students, principals, teachers and school district employees will be participating in this exciting event to help increase health, obesity and diabetes awareness while raising money for the Haverford Education Foundation with every step taken. All registered participants will receive their free pedometer in the classroom during the last week of March. A cover letter will explain how to log into a secure Web site to track the number of steps walked during the program. At the April 26th awards program, medals will be presented to top “steppers” in each grade. A plaque will be provided to the school averaging the most steps. A Grand prize will be awarded to each student, principal and teacher/school district employee who has taken the overall most steps. All participants will receive a personalized award certificate.
