The Haverford Township School District
Education Foundation is the result of a
vision held by a group of local community
leaders who appreciated the school district's
excellent reputation and wished to enhance
the school district's curriculum and extra-curricular
activities with privately-funded enrichment
programs.
The foundation works closely with the school
district, faculty and students, but it is
an independent, tax-exempt organization.
We received our federal 503(c)(3) status in
2005.
More than $40,000 has been distributed by the Foundation for over 50 innovative projects designed by students, teachers and involved parents. The Foundation also has begun to raise money for its first major project, building a state-of-the-art TV station at Haverford High School. This project is causing the district to design a new multi-media communications curriculum for the 21st century with a focus on writing across all media, including print, radio, television and internet.
We dream big because our students and our
neighbors deserve it. With your help, we can make those dreams
come true.
