The Haverford Township School District Education Foundation is the result of a vision held by a group of local community leaders who appreciated the school district's excellent reputation and wished to enhance the school district's curriculum and extra-curricular activities with privately-funded enrichment programs.

The foundation works closely with the school district, faculty and students, but it is an independent, tax-exempt organization. We received our federal 503(c)3 status in 2005.

More than $5,000 has been distributed under the Foundation's first project, a mini-grant program, for innovative projects designed by a student, teachers and involved parents. The Foundation also hopes to raise substantial funds for major, long-term projects.
